mini50records Wow. This is mesmerising and captivating and beautiful. I was lucky enough to play at this venue back in 2014 and it's a stunning little place. To have witnessed this performance would have been something truly special. The first track is hypnotic and to hear arrive, arrive be so rich and powerful is just wonderful. Brilliant.

Buffy Leigh This album is addictive, keep leaving it on a loop. Absolutely gorgeous, would love this on vinyl.

esoteros IWC accepts and even insists on taking his earlier inspirations to their extreme consequences, as if probing the limits of their expressive potential, almost to the point where they disappear. This live offers a new, fascinating view on natural resonance of ambient sounds while closing the circle on IWC's recent work around "Centres".
TengoMiedoTorero

TengoMiedoTorero The most elevating, celestial and blissful thing I've ever listened to. I love IWC's studio work, especially Centres, but there's something really special about this live recording; the first two tracks are particularly otherworldly. So glad I managed to get a copy of the CD. Favorite track: On the Reach of Explanations.

Loizos Olympios wish I knew about the cd release before
it sold out. Nevertheless this will do. Listening to it now....celestial.

about

On the final night of my first tour, a strange concoction of exhaustion, attention and Latvian hospitality poured into cassette machines and came out like this. I felt the evening was a particularly special one, especially after hearing Lee Chapman on stage beforehand (whose work is a delight – leefchapman.bandcamp.com ). It was also the rare occasion where I had remembered to hit the record button beforehand, which means that I'm able to share what happened that evening with you. I hope you enjoy.

(This was available as a limited edition CD on Recital Program – www.recitalprogram.com, but it has since sold out.)

released September 22, 2017

Recorded live on 26 August 2016 at Durbē Lutheran Church in Latvia. All songs composed, performed and recorded by IWC. "Requiem for Al Purdy" contains a lyrical excerpt from his poem "Archeology of Snow" which everyone should go and read because it's beautiful. Special thanks to Qu Junctions for organising and to Miks Magone for hosting me. Mastering by Sean McCann.
